The “Searching for Myself” story starts with a newly hatched hero whose identity is unknown in the beginning. The mystery hero doesn’t recognize himself or the world around him. He feels lonely and wants to know who he is and if there are more like him. He starts to explore and meets various characters that will give readers the clues to the identity of the hero. In the end the readers learn that the hero is a grasshopper belonging to the family of insects.

The story targets elementary school aged children who love outdoors, nature, mystery, and animal. The story will encourage a child to go outside and identify the animals on his or her own. The readers will learn about animals and nature, and to care for the environment.

It is about finding yourself  and your place in this world.
